Lewis - Lyme Disease

We today had the results back for the tests for Lyme Disease - these came back negative - Lewis does not have Lyme Disease. Thank you to everybody who encouraged us to pursue this - it is better to know than to wonder.

I'm also sorry for missing Lewis' birthday but I've not been well. I did think of him on his big day, I can't believe he is 5, he is growing up fast!

Please, PLEASE, for the sake of this child, do some research on Lyme Disease. The tests are notoriously poor, and MANY people get negative results, yet still DO have Lyme. PLEASE look into this more, and give more detailed info here.

I know how bad Lyme makes me feel. I can not even imagine a child -- too young to know how one is supposed to feel, and unable to adequately express what they do feel. PLEASE, something prompted you to run that test to begin with. Please consult with a lyme-literate medical doctor.; 15 March 2009 at 16:55
