Granny and Grandad are home!

ABOVE: Lewis, Cameron and Matthew chilling on the garden swing. Well after 6 weeks on holiday, Granny and Grandad came home .. hooray! It was so lovely to see them after all that time and Lewis was very excited to see them, after receiving lots and lots of postcards from them from all over the World! So, the weekend after Granny and Grandad came home, we had a sort of bbq, but without the bbq! Kind of a garden picnic party thing! And we had a great day! Phill and Jayne were able to get across from Stoke for the day with their children Tiffany and Cameron. Cameron has severe epilepsy and other problems and so he is unable to move, but even so he's a gorgeous scrumptious little man with incredible blue eyes whom everybody adored! Debbie and Robert also came over with Matthew and Ethan. Matthew also has severe epilepsy and like Cameron he has no movement, but again he's a super flirt with the most gorgeous blue eyes and everybody loved him too! Kirsty, Alastair, Kath and Ian all came too. James was on a football weekend in Newcastle and we got texts from him about how much he'd had to drink!

ABOVE: Lewis and Cam on the swing. The white fluffy bear was a present for Lewis from Cam. It has fibre optic lights inside and changes colour, very cool! ABOVE: Jayne and Cameron.

ABOVE: the three boys chilling again!

It was sooooo hot that we all came inside and we had to bring the air conditioning unit from upstairs to keep the front room cool! It was the most popular place to be until the sun cooled down a bit later in the afternoon!

ABOVE: Lew chilling in the aircon with Granny and Grandad!ABOVE: Lew in the pool with Kirsty and Kath

It cooled down enough for us to go in the pool without being cooked! It was a really lovely day and we hope to be able to do it again soon! ABOVE: Lewis with his cat Charlie! Charlie always refuses to budge when I put Lewis on the bed so he just makes himself comfortable however he can!

ABOVE: Samuel relaxing in Granny's posh garden chair! The day after our non-bbq, we went to Granny and Grandads house for a relax! Granny cooked a lovely lunch which we were able to eat outside (in the shade!) and Samuel and Lew had a lovely time just chilling! ABOVE: Lew was tired, but even so he was really happy to be seeing so much of Grandad. ABOVE: Lew and Samuel
ABOVE: Samantha and Samuel being a bit weird! ABOVE: Grandad and Lew chilling in the shade ABOVE: Granny gave Lew a tiny taste of ice cream, but he didnt like it much! ABOVE: We bought some ice cream and made Samuel a cream soda and ice cream float as he's not had one before! What a terrible mum I am! ABOVE: Samuel always takes great photos of Lew! Lew loves his brother soooo much!
ABOVE: Lew with his gift from Postpals Helen B, and a photo of her gorgeous rabbits Adelaide and Tiramisu! Thank you so much Helen for the cassettes and the cassette case! Very handy! And Lew loves to listen to music and stories! And we love the photo of the rabbits and hearing about their escapades at the vet! ABOVE: Lew with his card from Sarah. Thank you very very much Sarah Kidd for the fabulous frog and butterfly card! Lew loved looking at it and we all really enjoyed the poem! Here is a really cute photo of Lew and Ethan. Ethan is 10 weeks old now (he is Matthew's brother) and he's adorable! Lew loves him too! ABOVE: Samuel in the pool ... he is practising holding his breath! ABOVE: Thank you so very much to the Cobra Foundation for the donation of 'Cobra for a year' for us to auction at Lewis' fundraising night on Wednesday. The Cobra Foundation is an independent charitable trust, founded by Cobra Beer Ltd in 2005. The Foundation provides donations to charities and good causes which focus on improving the life and outlook for disadvantaged children in the UK and India.
FINALLY ... dont forget the Peter Kay Tribute Act Night on Wednesday 28th May at the Keepmoat Stadium here in Doncaster. Tickets are £25 each, but if you buy a table of 10, you only pay for 9 tickets. And what a good reason to come along - you can bid for Cobra for a year! Thats 365 bottles .. 16 cases .. might not last a year .. but what a way to go, eh?!

The Lewis Jeynes Fund

The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.

Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.

Contributions should be sent to The Lewis Jeynes Fund, 15 Kentmere Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5FL or by BACS to Nat West Bank, “The Lewis Jeynes Fund” Account No. 35662565 Sort Code 60 06 39. You can also go into your local Nat West Bank and pay into the Fund over the counter.

i love you much (most beautiful darling) by e.e.cummings

i love you much (most beautiful darling), more than anyone on the earth and i like you better than everything in the sky -sunlight and singing welcome your coming although winter may be everywhere with such a silence and such a darkness, no one can quite begin to guess (except my life) the true time of year - and if what calls itself a world should have the luck to hear such singing (or glimpse such sunlight as will leap higher than high through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each nearness) everyone certainly would (my most beautiful darling) believe in nothing but love
