Good morning!
Hello!
Had the most wonderful day yesterday. We went to play group at the hospital and Lew had the best time, singing and sticking and playing on the touch screen computer. Rachel and Jill are just the best! They adore the children they look after and it totally shows because the children always have the best time. Lew has taken quite a shine to Linda too! As usual, we managed to meet lots of Lews other friends from the hospital, particularly the physio and OT teams!
Then we went straight across to musical minis at the community centre and met Denise, Maisie and Oliver there and also Barbara and her grandchildren Ellie and Luke and her daughter Kate. Lew loved musical minis! We sang lots of songs and played with musical instruments and Lew LOVED the hokey cokey as he really does laugh and chuckle when he is 'whooshed' towards someone (in his giraffe chair) - he finds it so hysterical! And of course with the hokey cokey you do all zoom into the middle and so he thought that was just great! Must remember to do the hokey cokey at his birthday party!!
Then we went to the yorkshire outlet (sorry .. Lakeside Village ha ha posh name) with Denise, Maisie and Oliver for a nice cup of coffee in the Thorntons Cafe and then we watched Maisie and Oliver play in the soft play area and Lew loved seeing them play and also smiling at other children who were there.
We came home around 5pm and Lew was sooooo tired after his long but very happy day!
Jodie and Nicola arrived for our chinese girls night in and Lew was surprised to see them out of nurses uniforms!!! Then it was off to bed for Lew - head hit the pillow and he was almost straight off! Then Samuel and I, Jodie and Nicola enjoyed our chinese while James ate .... what did James eat? Then we watched trashy TV and I bored the pants off Nicola and Jodie looking at photographs ... they did say 'WE LOOOOVE LOOKING AT PHOTOS ...' - I think they might have now regretted that comment!!!
It was a late night, I think we said goodbye around 11.30pm but it was so great - a totally wonderful day for all.
And now its Wednesday but more about today when today is finished lol!
xx

The Lewis Jeynes Fund
The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.
Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.
Contributions should be sent to The Lewis Jeynes Fund, 15 Kentmere Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5FL or by BACS to Nat West Bank, “The Lewis Jeynes Fund” Account No. 35662565 Sort Code 60 06 39. You can also go into your local Nat West Bank and pay into the Fund over the counter.

i love you much (most beautiful darling) by e.e.cummings
i love you much (most beautiful darling), more than anyone on the earth and i like you better than everything in the sky -sunlight and singing welcome your coming although winter may be everywhere with such a silence and such a darkness, no one can quite begin to guess (except my life) the true time of year - and if what calls itself a world should have the luck to hear such singing (or glimpse such sunlight as will leap higher than high through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each nearness) everyone certainly would (my most beautiful darling) believe in nothing but love

Sounds like a really good day, really glad Lewis (and you!) enjoyed himself
When is Lewis's bday?
I spent Monday singing down in the jungle.. literally all morning!
Does Lewis know that one?
Instead of having animals in the jungle (like your ment to!),
we had winnie the pooh, and tigger, and minnie mouse and such like though haha...
Down in the jungle where nobody goes..theres a winnie the pooh, washing his clothes, with a rub-a-dub here and a rub-a-dub there..thats the way Winnie washes his clothes! I, tie, a boogie woogie woogie, i,tie, a boogie, woogie woogie...thats the way he washes his clothes...
Or, down in the jungle where nobody goes, theres Lewis and Mummy washing their clothes..
and so on!
Hope today is another smiley happy day for all :)
