Photographs, conservatories, tonsils and lie ins
Hello! morning!
Well yesterday was great! Lew was very very clingy, but he still managed to have a very long cuddle with granny which I think pleased granny an awful lot! In the morning Teresa came over and helped give Lew a bath and then watched him (turn blue twice!) while I got a shower!! Poor Teresa had not seen one of Lewis' reflex anoxic seizures before and had quite a shock as he did it to her twice!!! Later on granny and grandad came and Lew enjoyed seeing them and while I took Samuel to his year 10/11 options meeting at school, granny had a cuddle with Lew and both benefited hugely from it! Later, Kath came to do some physio which Lew didnt like quite so much as cuddles with granny, but needs must! Then Luke and Georgia and Ilya arrived and had a play. After Kath had finished 'torturing' Lew (!!) we popped up to Olga's for a cup of tea and Lew was very very vocal and excited to be sat with the big children and it was a wonderful wonderful pleasure to watch him being so happy! I do think that granny's tapping and Kath's physio helped him enjoy himself alot more, but I dont think Lew would agree about the physio part!!
So conservatories ... well we now have, instead of a patio/terrace, a trench ... well we did have trench ... right this second it is being filled with cement!! And in the next 1-2 weeks it will transform .. TA DAAAAAAAAAA .. into a conservatory! Whohoooo! Style-a-Home is owned by James friend who has very kindly done us a VERY good deal and so to increase our downstairs space (an absolute essential now for Lewis) we are having a conservatory ... I will I WILL remember to put some photos on I promise (someone please remind me .. Yolanda thanks for reminding me once but I need it stamped on my head!).
Now enough about us for now ... except to say today we have THREE appointments at DRI! With Dr Mordekar, then with the dietician, then with Dr Ahmad ... so we're going to be kind of busy today! But please think (and pray if you do) for Ilya who today is having his tonsils out at DRI ... I am sure they will do a wonderful job of looking after him, but even so its just not nice having to go into hospital for an operation, do they still give lots of ice cream for tonsils??!
So a busy day, will catch up later!
Oh forgot lie ins ... this morning I changed Lew's nappy while he was still asleep so I could have a guilt-free lie in .. you see he is soaking his nappies overnight and hence his pyjamas and sheets and bed .... so brainwave .... I changed his nappy before it soaked through, at around 7 this morning, and then went back to bed, perchance to dream!

The Lewis Jeynes Fund
The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.
Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.
Contributions should be sent to The Lewis Jeynes Fund, 15 Kentmere Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5FL or by BACS to Nat West Bank, “The Lewis Jeynes Fund” Account No. 35662565 Sort Code 60 06 39. You can also go into your local Nat West Bank and pay into the Fund over the counter.

i love you much (most beautiful darling) by e.e.cummings
i love you much (most beautiful darling), more than anyone on the earth and i like you better than everything in the sky -sunlight and singing welcome your coming although winter may be everywhere with such a silence and such a darkness, no one can quite begin to guess (except my life) the true time of year - and if what calls itself a world should have the luck to hear such singing (or glimpse such sunlight as will leap higher than high through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each nearness) everyone certainly would (my most beautiful darling) believe in nothing but love
