Photos from Christmas, as promised

Here is Lewis' friend Luke practising his reading!
Debbie and Matthew treated us to bowling and we also got to meet Father Christmas and he was LOVELY!
Lewis loves playing with his musical instruments, especially when he's not feeling too good and we cant go outdoors.
We went to visit Karen and Joe, William and Bethany, Elisha and Emily, and Lew was so happy to see them! He especially loves the girls!
Lewis loved having a cuddle with Elisha.
Lewis and scrumptious William.
Lew with mummy, visiting with Karen and Joe and the children. We had a great time, Lew enjoyed having cuddles with the children and being entertained by their dancing and singing and playing!
At the Bluebell Wood Christmas Party in Sheffield. Matthew and his dad Robert had their photo taken with some Star Wars characters!
Us at the Bluebell Wood Christmas Party.
Lew got to meet Father Christmas AGAIN! He was so lovely and Lew really enjoyed meeting him.
At the end of the party, it SNOWED! (Indoors!).
As Christmas approached, Lew's health got worse and he wasnt feeling very well at all. So it was a lovely surprise to receive a gift from one of his Postpal friends.
He also got a lovely card!
These beautiful window decorations from Lewis' cousin Evie really do brighten up his bedroom!
Stuck indoors again as Lew wasnt well, so we got the musical instruments out again and played Christmas songs! Lew loved watching Miss Jodie!
We really really needed some fresh air, so we braved the cold for a walk around the lake to feed the birds. Lewis was really excited that his friend Luke could come with us!
Back home in the warm, having a go on the Nintendo Wii!
We were very lucky indeed on Christmas Eve to be able to travel to Leicester for lunch with Nathan's mum Anna, dad Andrew, and his grandparents Myrtle and Michael. (www.caringbridge.org/visit/nathanbovell).
Lew was too poorly to go in the pool, but Nathan loved it and I had a go too! Very nice way to spend Christmas Eve, especially after a delicious lunch!
Christmas Day finally arrived and Samuel and Lew were thrilled to receive so many parcels from Postpal friends. Thank you so much Postpals!
Thank you Aunty Lucy, Uncle Mike, and cousins Katy and Emily for the fabulous books and the DVDs!
Thank you Caroline, Mr Caroline, Kyle and especially Declan for the super cool cheeky monkey top and jeans! (www.declan-kelly.com).
Thank you so much Maisie and Oliver for the super dancing snake!
Lewis and Samuel (and me and James) got a huge box of pressies from our special Postpal Sian and her little brother Jamie!
Later, Granny and Grandad did some dancing for Lewis! Also in the picture is Lew's Pingu which he loves! Thank you so much Evie (and Aunty Nicola and Uncle Lee).
Granny reading Lewis a story.
Later, after lunch, we played a game! Granny and Grandad Colin and Grandad Skinny made us laugh!
On Boxing Day Lew was very poorly so spent most of the day in bed sleeping. Later in the evening he came downstairs for a cuddle with his Granny and Grandads.
Lew hasnt been well over Christmas, but we have managed to stay away from hospital! Today (28th) Lewis is feeling much better, so fingers crossed his illness has passed and he can keep improving in time for 2008!
We hope you have enjoyed our selection of photographs from the Christmas period. Thank you to our family and friends and of course postpals (http://www.postpals.co.uk/) posties for all the wonderful gifts and cards Lewis and Samuel received.

The Lewis Jeynes Fund

The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.

Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.

Contributions should be sent to The Lewis Jeynes Fund, 15 Kentmere Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5FL or by BACS to Nat West Bank, “The Lewis Jeynes Fund” Account No. 35662565 Sort Code 60 06 39. You can also go into your local Nat West Bank and pay into the Fund over the counter.

i love you much (most beautiful darling) by e.e.cummings

i love you much (most beautiful darling), more than anyone on the earth and i like you better than everything in the sky -sunlight and singing welcome your coming although winter may be everywhere with such a silence and such a darkness, no one can quite begin to guess (except my life) the true time of year - and if what calls itself a world should have the luck to hear such singing (or glimpse such sunlight as will leap higher than high through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each nearness) everyone certainly would (my most beautiful darling) believe in nothing but love
