Easter holidays - super busy!
What a busy Easter we have had! First of all, here is ANOTHER photograph of Lewis with Charlie!! Charlie likes to share his bed with Lewis sometimes ...!!
One afternoon, Oliver and Maisie came to play. Maisie did a show while Lewis and Oliver watched!
We spent an afternoon at Karen's and Joe's and Lew loved being cuddled by Bethany ...
And by William.
Here's another photo of Charlie sharing his bed with Lew!!!
Samuel came back from spending some time with his dad in Twickenham. He was very happy, having spent some time with his nan and his sister Mollie as well. Here are Samuel and Mollie on the trampoline, a quick visit as Mollie was on her way home to her mum.
A big thank you to Helen Brierley for Samuel's lovely Easter card and chocolate bunny!
With the weather being so good over the holidays, Lewis got to spend some time in the pool. He was also very very excited when our house guests arrived for the weekend - Angela and Hannah from Wales! Here is Lewis in the pool with Hannah. He is soooo in love!
Here are Lewis, Samuel and Hannah enjoying the warm pool (which of course was donated very kindly by the Make A Wish Foundation and Heaven at Home!).
All warm after a lovely afternoon in the pool! Lewis is wearing his towelling jacket which Aunty Wendy, Uncle Andrew, George and Anna gave him as gift, all the way from Australia! Wonder woman Kath did some cutting and stitching so that now instead of going over Lew's head (it wouldnt fit!) it now opens at the front and wraps around. Lovely!
We had a very generous donation of two Chillows for Lewis and Samuel from Soothsoft Limited. A Chillow is a flat rectangle pillow sized cooling system! You place it under your pillow, or on your body where it is hot, and it cools you down! They are great, especially for Lewis who can get very very sweaty! You can find out more about Chillows at
http://www.chillow.co.uk/.
Thank you AGAIN to Helen Brierley (
http://www.postpals.co.uk/) for Lewis' lovely Easter card and fantastic Easter masks! Here is Angela as a spring lamb, and Lewis as an Easter chick!
Another gorgeous day, so another afternoon in the pool!
Lewis enjoying a cuddle with Angela who felt the cold even though everybody else was warming up in the sunshine!
Lewis and Hannah spent an afternoon with Kath, and Lew had some therapy on the trampoline!!
He loved being bounced, and he did lots of practising with his head holding, well done Lewis!
Time to relax a bit!
And do some colouring with Hannah.
After a hard afternoon working, time to relax!
A surprise visitor! Lewis' friend Luke came to deliver a lovely postcard from his holidays in Egypt!

The Lewis Jeynes Fund
The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.
Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.
Contributions should be sent to The Lewis Jeynes Fund, 15 Kentmere Drive, Doncaster, DN4 5FL or by BACS to Nat West Bank, “The Lewis Jeynes Fund” Account No. 35662565 Sort Code 60 06 39. You can also go into your local Nat West Bank and pay into the Fund over the counter.
i love you much (most beautiful darling) by e.e.cummings
i love you much (most beautiful darling), more than anyone on the earth and i like you better than everything in the sky -sunlight and singing welcome your coming although winter may be everywhere with such a silence and such a darkness, no one can quite begin to guess (except my life) the true time of year - and if what calls itself a world should have the luck to hear such singing (or glimpse such sunlight as will leap higher than high through gayer than gayest someone's heart at your each nearness) everyone certainly would (my most beautiful darling) believe in nothing but love
