Such a smiley face!!!

We had some unexpected guests today and Lew was so excited! He was just smile after smile!

My very good friend Annmarie was able to visit with her 2 daughters (Shannon and Savannah - both bridesmaids at our wedding) while her husband Mike was busy working in Sheffield!! We had a lovely day together, but we were all soooooo tired! They were tired from arriving in Sheffield around midnight last night, and I am just tired all the time anyway!!! But I was so happy to see them and so was Lew! He couldnt keep his eyes off the girls and it was smiles and batting his eyelashes all day long!

It was very sad to say goodbye to Nicola and Evie today, they have been visiting with us all week and it really has been the best week we've had for a long time. We will miss them soooo much until their next visit!

Oh .. before I forget - apparently there will be an eclipse of the moon tonight! Cooooooooooool!

Annmarie is on her way to becoming a very very very good photographer (she's already very good!). She took some 'snaps' at our wedding in August (which is sadly the last time we saw them so today's visit was a really great surprise and treat!) and today she gave us a DVD of some of the pics she took. It was awesome to see, particularly as Lewis was completely okay then except he couldnt walk. He could still crawl and speak and everything else was normal, it was just his legs that had stopped working. And of course I was super slim, tanned and looking rather flipping gorgeous (and happy) I must say!

The Lewis Jeynes Fund

The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.

Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.
