Some photos

Lewis in hospital this weekend - even though he felt rough, he still managed to smile at Upsidaisy!

This photo was taken just before Lewis started feeling poorly (the clock and date were wrong on the camera!). Lewis is out of hospital now and recovering at Daddy's house. He's on oral antibiotics for 10 days and should be back to normal very soon. Thank you very much to all the staff at DRI Childrens Hospital Ward 31 for taking care of Lew and thank you to everybody for your kind messages and wishes for Lew's speedy recovery.

Lewis in hospital

Just a quick update. Lewis hasnt been well since Sunday evening really, and today he seemed alot worse so I took him up to the assessment unit at the hospital to be checked out and they have decided to keep him in for observations. He's had a chest xray which was hazy so possible infection. He's had blood tests so we are waiting for the results of them. He seemed a bit brighter when he discovered he was surrounded by attractive young nurses though! He's staying in overnight with his daddy and I'll let you know tomorrow if he's going to be allowed home. UPDATE: Lewis started on IV antibiotics overnight as his infection markers in the bloods were high. UPDATE Sunday 12th April - Lewis was much better this morning and will be switching from IV to oral antibiotics this evening and should be okay to come home!

Not well

Lewis isnt very well at the moment - he's got a bug/virus and is not happy or smiley and is sleeping alot. He's getting plenty of rest and quiet - getting bored of my voice reading him stories I think! Hopefully we can get him well very soon, so we can get out and about these Easter holidays for more photos for his website!

Lewis and I went to the farm again on Wednesday. We had a lovely time, the weather was beautiful and there were new lambs to see so that was really lovely! Unfortunately the camera battery ran out so we couldnt take many photos!

The Lewis Jeynes Fund

The Lewis Jeynes Fund was established to provide care and support to Lewis Jeynes and the success of the Fund has meant that we have also been able to purchase specialist equipment for other children with undiagnosed neurologically degenerative conditions in Doncaster and the UK.

Lewis and his friends around the UK all suffer from acute and undiagnosed life limiting or terminal conditions and very often specialist equipment is difficult to afford due to the changed circumstances at home. This is where the Fund can provide vital assistance to those in need. All of the proceeds of the Fund go straight towards helping Lewis, and other children and families like him and us.
